Membership in the Howard Park Civic Association is an inexpensive,
tax-deductible way to support the community of Howard Park.
The cost of memberships are as follows:
_ $ 25.00 Community Member (individual and non-profit organization)
_ $ 40.00 Married Couple / household
_ $ 100.00 Business/Business Association
_ $ 10.00 Senior (60 years old and above)
You can join at any public or board meeting. Simply print and
complete the Membership
Application and bring it along with cash or a check made out
to HPCA. Your membership fee and all donations are tax deductible.

Your Civic Association is proud of your contributions in preserving
and protecting a quality of life we have come to enjoy. Please join

so that we may add services in the future.
Here are just some of the services we have been providing:
• The MTA Challenge — as the Mass Transit Authority
of Maryland cancelled the M6 bus line without fanfare and concern
for the citizens of Howard Park, HPCA challenged this state run
organization and fought to have this vital transportation resource
restored. WITH YOUR HELP WE WON!!
• The Commercial District Revitalization Project - after more
than 10 years without a major super market, we have made significant
progress and a new super market and commercial area is now on it's
• We have street cleaning services, restoration of leaf vacuuming
and provide a semi-annual neighborhood clean-up day.
• The bi-monthly publication, the HPCA Spotlight has finally
been funded through the generous donation of our sponsors who believe
in our cause and has helped to contribute to support some of our
other worthwhile endeavors.
• We are currently working with the Friends of the Power Mill
Watershed to improve and enhance the wooded areas within our borders..
These are just some of the projects we have undertaken. They are
primarily funded by membership dues.
We look forward to a productive and prosperous future with the support
and input from you, our members and sponsors.

Web site $100.00 per year
Newsletter $35 per issue / $150 per year
All advertising will be limited to business card size (vertical
or horizontal). Camera-ready art must be submitted in one of the
following electronic formats: TIFF, EPS, PDF. Please, no MAC files
or scans. Any files requiring modification will be billed at $50.00
